Permalinks within site change to ?page_id=x form when updating pages/posts

    I’m having this weird behaviour recently with my wordpress installation. Whenever I update a page that contains permalinks to other pages within the same site, they suddently change to a no-permalink structure, with ?page_id= and ?cat_ID=. However, clicking on the link goes to the page with the address displaying on the browser as the permalink.

    I’ve de-activated the plugins that might mess up with links (Broken Links and All In One SEO) but the behaviour persists.

    I’m worried about the impact this might have on search engines … other than being annoying.

    Any hints would be very much appreciated.
