    How I using this feature?
Someone is trying to log to my admin lot of times for the same IP.
I added the IP to the blacklist manager, is this enough?
I also added honeypot to the login page.

Hi, I would add one of the Brute Force features like rename the login page. You can also add the username they are using to try and log into your admin account. You can add the name to the following area Instantly Lockout Specific Usernames: located under WP Security -> User Login -> Login Lockdown.

Let me know if you need more help.

    Hey, thanks for the answer.

I added the “honeypot” from the Brute Force features hope it will work, I do not like to rename the login page because the other users will get confused.

I will add the name the next time, I delete all the failed login it was very long list.

What I can I do if someone got my username? I think it was shown on the code as author of the page/post, it shown on the page code.

Hi, in regards to your comment.

What I can I do if someone got my username? I think it was shown on the code as author of the page/post, it shown on the page code.

If the above is the case then your best option is to create a new admin user account.

    Hey,
    about:

Thanks, do you know about any way to remove this for the code so next time it won’t happen?

I saw the plugin can remove the wordpress version, I want to know if the plugin can remove the user data from the code or if I need to change the code by myself

    about:

I get lock out of the admin, where I can find the rule blocking the user and removed it?

    I forgot to add “if”
I mean if I block the username as you wrote above and get lock out of the admin, how I can remove the lock? I know I can remove locked IP address by edit the table on phpmyadmin, so I asking if the lock username is write on some table

Hi, are you referring to the user info if someone types “/?author=1”. If you are then simply enable the following feature User Enumeration under Miscellaneous.

Hi the following feature block usernames will not block any current user names already added to your site even if you add them to the list.

If your questions have been answered can you mark this support thread as resolved. If not let me know if you need more help.

The author name is shown on the code, I enable the feature User Enumeration.
I also added the username to the block list.
I think this is it for now, thanks
