permanently deleted people

xxx was permanently deleted and cannot be re-imported. The contact must re-subscribe to get back on the list.

How do you deal with this? Multiple forms, signing up to different interests.

Using: Update an existing subscriber’s profile information instead of displaying a “user already subscribed”

Obs want to update not add new versions of people.
