Permisión Denied – Admin user

    Hi!

    I am having some issues with the roles. I have a WordPress user with ‘Editor’ role and ‘administrator’ role on wpForo at the same time. So, if this user get into the backend and press the Foro / Foros get a”Permiso denegado” message.

    So it’s not possible to have an wp ‘Autor’ o ‘Editor’ role and ‘Admin’ on wpForo?

    An ‘Admin’ user on wpFor must be ‘Admin’ user too in WordPress?

    Example:
    ————————-
    User WP: jessica
    Permissions WP: Editor
    Permissions wpForo: Admin

    Hi Antonio Reina,

    It is possible, however, there is a restriction:

    E.g “Jessica” can do all frontent actions according to her forum access (in this case “Admin Access”), but she’ll not be able to do some actions in wpForo dashboard, since these actions can do only the wpForo admin, who are WordPress admin too.

    We cannot change this logic as it will not be safe.
