Permission Error

    Why do I get this message when I try to schedule a backup of database and files:

    ‘You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.’

    I am the administrator of the site and set up in WP Dashboard Admin.

  • WordPress has nothing to do with the backup process. Are you using a plugin?
    You should contact your host as backups of the database are normally done in MySQL. Backing up files is just copying all the current files to your computer. Ftp can do that.

    Don’t they control users and rights given to them? That’s what the issue is. It has happened before using other plugins and I review my rights and I have admin rights on wordpress and on domain host directory.

    What page are you trying to access?
