permissions

  • Hello ??
    I need users to give access to a page. But the plugin only works if i give them ‘edit_others_posts’ capability – but i dont want them to be able to edit others posts. Only their own.
    What can i do to make it work?

  • Same. It appears this no longer works. It used to work.

    I got it working. I assigned the role Page Editor to the user (not Author) and I allowed “Edit Pages” but did not allow OR DISALLOW “Edit Others’ Pages”. This seems to be enough to allow the user to only edit pages they’re a co-author on.

    It may take saving the permissions again on the latest version of WordPress, but I’m not sure.
