• Hi there! Just after installing the WordPress plugin WMPL Media I got this error on my site:

Warning: unlink(C:\WINDOWS\TEMP/fr_FR10.tmp) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\Imagineoutlet\blog\wp-admin\includes\file.php on line 453

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_clean_update_cache() in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\Imagineoutlet\blog\wp-admin\includes\class-wp-upgrader.php on line 1848

I’ve contacted my hosting, which assured me they set full permissions for windows/temp, but the error is still there. I have very limited knowledge in coding, and was wondering what is exactly happening there ?

As that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
