Permissions issue on 3.0.1 automatic upgrade.

  • In my file system I have 775 user.nobody permissions with sticky bit set on directories 2775 and am noticing something odd on the 3.0 to 3.0.1 automatic upgrade.

    Files placed by the upgrade process are set to 644.

    Is this set by the upgrade process? If so where can I change where wordpress sets this to at least 664.
    It is breaking the upgrade due to permissions.
