nopes, still waiting for the theme author to respond…

really wanted to use this in my blog but have given up on this slider for now.

I got that error too on the url
…/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=infinite-slider

Looks like a change took place and you should now be going to
…/wp-admin/admin.php?page=infinite_slider_options

Once you configure the options there, you can use the shortcode [infinite-slider] wherever you want it. (Double check the spelling!)
