Permissions when posting new topic in a board

Hi everyone,

I am doing some updates for my boards, and I was wondering if there is a way for admins and subscribers to post to a board, instead of one person. To make it more clear, I am trying to set it where both admins and subscribers can post topics instead of one or the other. Is this possible, or do you have to edit this in one of the php files? If it is not possible, I would like to see this ability in the future.

Hi @thetechpianoplayerkid , I’m afraid we haven’t added that feature just yet, but it’s been submitted to our list of features or change requests to be considered by our developers for future releases.

I just realized that your questions above is confusing. ?? Do you mean for multiple user to create a board from the front end? Or do you mean for multiple user to post more than one topics in a specific board?

Sorry about the confusion. I was meaning that multiple users posting to a board, meaning admins and users/subscribers; not just one or the other. In other words, Having both admins and subscribers having the ability to post to the board. Hopefully I am making sense.

Gotcha! We can definitely do not with WP Discussion Board plugin. From your website backend dashboard, kindly navigate Discussion Board > Boards, edit one of your board and make sure that administrator and subscriber were selected on Permitted poster roles.
