Person doing the last update is shown is unknown

    I installed the plugin “Show modified date in admin lists” as previously I only saw the date and time of publication of each page, now thanks to this plugin I can also see the date and time of the last edit. Great plugin!

    One detail: below the date and time of the last edit, it says it was done by unknown. Shouldn’t it normally say the name of the person who made the last edit? It’s not a big deal, as I am the only person working on my site, but still I wonder if this is normal?

    Hi @animeshorer,

    Thanks for using our plugin.

    The plugin gets the information from the WordPress function get_the_modified_author() (more info here: get_the_modified_author()). If this function returns an empty value, we show UKNOWN.

    This function returns empty values if the user that modified the post doesn’t exist any more. So please try with your current active user and let’s see what happens.
