    Hi,
Your plugin adds a person schema to all pages by default and it is doing this automatically without a, in my opinion, reason. I know I can disable it by a code snippet but in my opinion, it shouldn’t work this way.

I often develop websites for clients and start with my fictional name as a developer with 1st personal account as an admin.

And now… by default all my clients websites (and other people too) have person schema markup all over the website with, sometimes, weird names. This isn’t person schema purpose. It shouldn’t be like this.

Not to say this can make brute attacks easier for bots because they see the default, first, username.

    Hello @wittywolk,

Thank you for contacting the support.

In the latest version of the plugin, our development team has implemented a revised Schema generation code that doesn’t add the Person Schema unless it’s necessary.

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of our plugin: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Ah, to be honest I didn’t installed your plugin yet because of this; I just checked on other people websites who I know used RankMath. But I had a feeling something happened since on your website person schema wasn’t visible and I knew it was a couple weeks before.

I’m glad you fixed it, now I can start using Rank Math. :))
