Personality Quiz for WP

Hey WordPress Gurus,
I’ve been wrestling with a WordPress quiz issue for weeks, and at this point I’m so frustrated I’m ready to throw myself off the sharp, flat edge of my harsh code-universe.

Here’s the deal. I need to be get a quiz like this working on a WordPress site.

This quiz is made up of open ended questions, (meaning there’s no right or wrong answer), and four results pages based on the selections that are chosen.

I have tried EVERYTHING I know to get this working. But I’m new to WordPress, and my skills aren’t advanced enough to get me where I need to go.

I think I need some sort of script call to assign to the submit button for the quiz. Maybe something similar to what that comes with the WP Contact form plugin?

I’ve also looked for a Flash-based quiz generator, because I thought I could just embed it, but had no luck there.

I’ve tried generating a .php version of the HTML quiz on the above referenced page. Didn’t make a difference.

I’ve tried creating the quiz with separate javascript files like this one here, which also didn’t work.

I’m at the point now where I’m thinking I’ll have to create basic HTML pages, upload them to my server, and reference them from WP, because it seems there’s NO WAY to get the quiz working within WP.

Am I wrong? Seriously, people, I’m tearing my hair out, here. Any help you could provide would be appreciated big time.
