Personality quiz with 10 paired statements

Hi Mark

I think I created a quiz similar to your requirements…

I created 6 categories as follows:
Looking After Yourself
Taking Control
Determination
Connect with Others
Positive Mental Attitude
Sense of Purpose

Then I added 5 multiple choice answers from a value of 1 to 5 to indicate agreement or disagreement to each question. (You could just have a 0 for NO and a 1 for Yes.)

The results for each category can be added, along with the total, in the results.

All a’s and b’s are connected to a type, in total there are 9 types.

The above requirement of yours can be fulfilled with the solution proposed by Tim but can you please explain what do you mean by 45 paired statements.

Paired statements are like the example. Each question has 2 statements and the quiz taker has to choose which statement fits him the best. Each statement is connected to a category. So the chosen statement has to add a point to that category.

Hi Mark,

For such quiz, you just need to create questions each with 2 answers. You can also allocate points to the answers and categories can be assigned to the questions via Advanced question settings. On the results page you can choose from the available template variables for the category scores.
