pets and breeders website

  • hi all Im looking for a plugin and and theme to use for a person that sells dogs or cats. I think a cart would be ok but would not need something with eCommerce. I have not found anything that has already been done. I want to be able to list dogs and puppies for sell but not use any payment system on the website. If anybody know or seen anything like this please reply.

  • There are a few ways to got about this.

    If it’s just one location/breeder selling animals, I would use Woocommerce and just modify the Cheque / Cash on Demand to reflect how you want the checkout process to go.

    If it’s multiple breeders across a large area, I would use a real estate plugin. I would then simply either remove and/or modify certain tags within the plugin. For instance, change the ‘Bedrooms’ to either animal type (Dog/Cat) and so on.

    thanks for the reply. I dont want any payment on here just away to post the dogs or puppies for sell. Can the payment system be removed? or hidden?

    There is no requirement for payment modules, and you can delete the Shopping Cart, My Account, and various other pages associated with Woocommerce.

    We’ve all been there. Just read the instructions twice and do it right the first time. You might want to also search YouTube for some install videos.

    Once you’re up an running on the initial install it’s pretty easy to add Woocommerce and other plugins.
