pev/next pagination for custom post types?

    Hi,

    I’m probably missing a really obvious solution to this. I’ve developed a theme with a custom post type using the advanced custom fields and custom post type UI plugins. I’ve been trying to add prev/next pagination so that more posts can be viewed, but I think I’m missing something really obvious in my code.

    I’ve tried using posts_nav_links() and searched all around for a simple answer; as of now my page shows an “older>>” link which sends you to the 404. Not sure how to fix.

    i finally found a suggestion after almost a day of searching:

    from the admin panel, switch to default permalink structure and save. then switch back to whichever custom permalink structure. and then it worked just fine.
