Phantom Google Connect Box-can't get rid of it!

  • I’ve been faffing around trying to get my Google followers from my old Blogger over to my self hosted blog https://eyeshoot.co.uk/blog/ and it’s finally worked apart from one thing….

    The old error box from my last attempt is still showing up on my blog even though I have deleted the old widget and replaced it with the new (correctly working) one. This is what it says We’re sorry…This gadget is configured incorrectly. Webmaster hint: Please ensure that “Friend Connect Settings – Home URL” matches the URL of this site..

    The old Widget has gone, but the error message box is still there. The new Google Connect Widget is behaving as it should.

    How can I get rid of this phantom error message box on my blog please?
