    Hello,

    I have an issue with the forminator form validation. I already set validation as:

    National -> Hong Kong

    With validation message.

    I still have submissions that are 10 digits long, but Hong Kong only support max of 8. How can I fix this?

    I suspect someone using a bot/program to bypass the validations, how can I prevent this happening?

    Hope you’re doing well today!

    We have a couple of reported issues with the Phone field validation when using the “National” method. However, those were not related to Hong Kong, so I have pinged the Developers to see if the issue is related to the same bug which was reported as they are working on a fix already.

    We will update you about this as soon as we get further information from them.

    In the meantime, could you please export the form and share with us so that we can import it on our lab site and test if we can replicate the issue still? It will help us troubleshoot it further in case the issue is not related to the reported bug.

    To share the form export
    – Navigate to the “Forminator -> Forms” page in your site’s back-end
    – click on a little “gear” icon next to the form in question
    – select “Export” option
    – copy given export code and paste it at?https://pastebin.com
    – include link to that paste in your response below.

    Note: this export will not include any data that is already submitted – they’ll stay safely on your site and we don’t need them anyway.

    Hope you’re doing well today! I have an update from the Forminator Devs and the issue was indeed related to the bug I was referring to in my previous response.

    That said, we have released a fix for the issue in our recent Forminator v1.36 update, Please feel free to update the Forminator plugin to the latest version and clear all caches (including the browser cache), it should resolve the issue with the Phone field.
