Phone number

    In the settings under “contact list” where I am able to put my phone number, no matter what combination I try, it automatically defaults to: +8168957000
    However, when I test it out on my mobile phone after I saved all my changes, I press the mobile button which takes me to my phone dialer mode, but it displays as: +81 6-8957-000.
    So it cannot complete the phone call.
    The phone number I am trying to input is (816) 895-7000 (US).
    What is the proper way to input this so that it works correctly? I even tried putting a number 1 in front of the number but that didn’t work either

    Please add the country code, which is 1 in US phone numbers.
    So the 18168957000 number should work, and it is OK to get +18168957000 back.
