Phone number changed

  • Hi folks. Weird problems. I was going to do some changes to my client’s site and noticed that his contact phone number is wrong on every page. BUT, when I log in and go to edit the pages the number is the correct one. Also under the hood, half the pages are missing, but on the public side they are all listed and come up when you click. Under the hood under Menus everything looks fine. All menu links are listed. What’s going on here?

  • It might be a cache issue in your browser. Clear your cache.

    Thanks for your reply. I just did that and as the page loaded, the correct number showed up for like a second and then it switched to the other unknown number. I even re-typed the correct one on the edit page to see what would happen.

    That’s extremely odd. Are you using a cache plugin on your site? Did you try loading the site on a different computer?

    I wonder if there’s a theme or plugin with a filter that is search-replacing the content on the fly, similar to what’s described here?
