    the Phone number should be requiered Amazon Pay only for Physical products.

    About the greyed out is because you merchant account is not still ready for Live transactions.

    You can check your account by following this link.

    I HAVE entered a phone number in valid format but still gives the error

    my account says I am fully ready for sales but still greyed out

    There is an issue related to the phone number you mention. About Amazon Pay being greyed out, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
