Phone Number Validation Not Working

  • After the 9.7 release, phone field validation is not working correctly in both Classic and Block Checkout. In Block Checkout, entering letters in the phone field is accepted as a valid input, and no validation is applied.

    I’ve tried to replicate the issue on my site, and I’m able to reproduce it as well. Additionally, I noticed that this bug has already been reported on GitHub here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/55065
