Phone numbers not merging

Just wondering if you found a solution for merging phone numbers. My experience is that only email address get copied over and also Equally important is that the contact record is unsubscribed. I don’t see how to fix the unsubscribed or get names and phone number. Any pointers?

@brightcompetitions @iwebcrafter sorry for the delay in responding. Phone number is not synced over currently because the customer object on the Mailchimp API does not support that just yet. In order to do this you’ll want to add a custom function which adds the merge tag to your list members by using a hook we provide here and also another hook during order submission here.

I would recommend using both functions but also make sure you’re not overwriting with an empty value if one was not provided in the data from the order ??
