Phone Required, though set to "Show" in Form Options

    Do you see that behavior if you switch to a standard WordPress theme? If so, it might be a bug. If not, it’s probably in your theme.

    Hi David,
    Thanks for your patience while I ran this down.

    I tried the form with Twenty Fifteen and Twenty Fourteen running under WordPress 4.4.2, both produced the same effect. Phone number was required though it is set to “Show”.

    Any thoughts?

    PS – I have spoken with the theme developer support as well, IMI Themes, Theme Gaea. They have not been able to shed light on the issue. I wanted to run your test and get back with you. Thx.

    Do you have an update on this? I’m experiencing the same issue using the Adore Church theme running version 4.0.17 of the plugin on WP 4.5.3.

    We really don’t want to hide the phone field but that seems to be the only way to avoid it being required, which can put a lot of people off donating.
