Phone verification code error

  • Hi support,

    Simple problem: On step 3 “Confirm store requirements” I can’t verify the phone number via SMS text message. I get the following error message:

    “Unable to request the phone verification code. Unexpected token ‘<‘, “<html> <h”… is not valid JSON”

    The error message you’re seeing suggests there might be an issue with the JSON response we’re getting from Google. This could be caused by a temporary glitch or a compatibility issue with another plugin. I suggest you try the following steps to resolve this issue:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again.
    2. Deactivate all other plugins except WooCommerce and Google Listings & Ads, then try again. If the issue is resolved, reactivate your plugins one by one to identify if there’s a conflict.
    3. If the problem persists, please get in touch with Google Support, as they handle the Phone verification process.

    I have the same problem. I cannot change the number. It tells me that the phone cannot be verified. What is the solution?
