photo appearing instead of post

  • Hello,
    I hope someone can help. There’s a problem on my site that is stumping me. On this page (link below) if you click on the first article (The Afternoon Piazza) the photo comes up instead of the article (or lets call it the post.) I have categorized the post correctly, it is the same as the articles below it, which are showing up normally. It must be something about how I put the photo into the code. I have checked the code against the other photos on the page and it seems correct. Any ideas of what I can try?

  • Since this is a commercial theme, I would suggest getting in touch with the Theme Author on how to how posts display and link in the Avada Theme. Since I am just a volunteer I do not have access to certain commercial themes; therefore, I can only offer minimal support.

    OK, thanks for your input. It’s got to be some kind of silly mistake on my part that I’m just not seeing. Because the rest of the posts listed on that page are fine.

    One thing I thought of, in case you are still working on this… are the posts that are displaying just the file or image set as a special Post Format?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply. I got it solved. In the code it was set to link to the photo instead of that page. I didn’t see it because I don’t know that much about code. But I’m learning!
