Photo Gallery ecommerce not linking pricelists

Recently add a couple of new items (paintings) for sale, and added pricelist in usual way, however the pricelist is not linking with the image. After selecting the image, then clicking: ‘Add pricelist’a tooltip panel pops up that says: ‘You must select at least one item’ even though it has already been selected. Then the ‘Add pricelist’ panel pops up, and despite the correct item being selected from the list, the item still shows ‘Not for sale’. This applies to all newly-added items. Older ones still show the pricelist and title, and are displayed for sale, as they should be.
I have no idea what is causing newer items to not link to the pricelist; there have been lots of updates recently and I’m not sure if this issue is related to those.
