• Hi, I’m stef, relative newbie (with prior experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, and a bit of CSS)
Rebuilding my site in wordpress. Using a child theme of origami (origami_child) and the photo gallery books plugin.

Cannot for the life of me get drop-down menus to stay above the photo gallery.

Assume this is a z-index problem, but it seems like any changes I add to my style.css file (in the child folder via ftp) don’t have any effect. Have also tried putting photo book gallery in a site-origin editor widget, but can’t change z-index on that either.

Also, drop down menu is long, and always disappears by the time I mouse over to the bottom of it. I don’t even know if this is a fixable problem.

Have lost hair and hours of my life on this. Please Help! Thanks!
