• I am searching for a photo gallery plugin that displays one photo per page to increase page views.

Can you recommend one that does that?

    Many thanks

  • If it’s one photo per page, why not insert the photo into a standard blog post? Why do you need a gallery plugin at all? What am I missing?

    UPDATE:

The cleanest way to do this would be to use the native Gallery block, and choose the option to link individual images in the gallery to their attachment pages.

But note that from WordPress 6.4, attachment pages are disabled by default. So you may have to enable this feature. See: https://make.www.ads-software.com/core/2023/10/16/changes-to-attachment-pages/

the standard wp media gallery does not produce one photo per page which is what I am trying to get for page views increase you know

Depends on what you mean by “page”.

If you mean post type of PAGE, you’re correct. And you’re not likely to find a plugin that does this, as seems utterly redundant to me.

But if you mean page in the general sense (ie any URL or destination on your site), then the native Gallery Block definitely has the option to link individual images to their attachment page. You may just have to customize the attachment page template to suit your needs. And as I mentioned above, attachment pages are disabled in 6.4+ by default, but the post linked above shows how to re-enable it.

And if you have to annoy your users just to get page views (by letting them click back and forth between pages to view multiple images), well, that’s another story together ??

you know page as a new url for each photo seen

I built this gallery with a plugin

    https://www.backdoorpodcast.com/olimpia-milano-partizan-belgrado-la-fotogallery/#lg=1&slide=0

but on Google analytics I don’t get it counted the way I want

you know page as a new url for each photo seen

The attachment page I’ve mentioned a million times already absolutely qualifies here.

I have installed the plugin suggested. However I see no change in the default gallery created.

    See an example https://www.backdoorpodcast.com/olympiacos-virtus-euroleague-pagelle-backdoor/

aren’t the photo supposed to open on a new url for each photo?
