photo gallery sort

I would really appreciate some feedback….

I want to implement a gallery that will let me sort my photos from high to low (based on a database field, ex. price or id #). Is there a plug in that I can use to have a custom field? Or is this something I will need to get into more complex coding for? I am willing to pay for something if I have to. I just want something easy to use.
