Photo Gallery Where Users Can Create Their Own Albums

  • I am looking for a photo gallery addon where users can create their own album(s) and then upload images to that album.

    In addition, I would like to create public albums in which users can contribute images to.

    I’ve seen wordpress sites using this, however I can find which addon it is? Any ideas, please?

    I don’t know of any specific plugins myself, but if you know of sites that utilize such a plugin, see if builtwith.com will ferret out any useful information. You can also review the page’s HTML source code and search for plugin link references. Search for “/plugins/” to find all plugin links on the page. This will only yield plugins that utilize their own .js or .css files, but I would expect any gallery plugin to do so.

    You might try asking the site’s webmaster what plugin they are using. You probably wouldn’t get a response, but it doesn’t hurt to ask ??

    Thanks for taking the time to reply. I’ve had some issues recently, so I am sorry for the slow reply.

    TheChive.com and others are using something. Maybe custom?

    I’ve use the link, which you provided to see if I can learn more.
