Photo issues

Hi Shaadi Bazaar Team,

1) The image settings are controlled on the Images tab under Directory Admin->Manage Options. Just FYI, once you upload an image, changing these settings does not change any previously uploaded images, so you may need to re-upload afterward.

2) Can you provide an example of this? When you say “promote a vendor on social media”, where are the images NOT appearing?

3) Pictures don’t have a way of being reordered right now in the configuration. This is something we can consider adding for the future, though.

5) HTML is allowed in fields when you’ve configured it to do so. You can change it under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields. Edit the field of interest. For fields that you want to have a link in, we have an URL field type we’d recommend using there. More on this in the docs: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/docs/#admin-form-fields

1. We have changed our settings for the photos but when you view it in the directory it has a default sizing that it shows up as

I’m not sure everything came through in your post–your reply for #1 seems like it’s missing some information. Can please show a screenshot demonstrating what you mean there? Use https://imageshack.us if you need to.

For the social sharing issue, we’ll have to investigate. This is the first report we’ve had of that, so I think it’s something we’ve missed.

sorry about that…
1. we changed the settings for the photo sizes, but when we look at the listing images in the directory, it still comes out small. Please let us know about the social media issue. if you take the link above and put it on FB or twitter none of the 10 images appear.

Did you re-upload the photos AFTER changing the settings? If you didn’t, I wouldn’t expect the sizes to change at all.

The social media issue appears to be an omission of Facebook graph tags, we’ll have to add those for another release.

I can relate to you since I had the same questions and I’m just a blogger (so not very technical). I completed all the above question but I’ve one remaining.

I really like how you have a large and bold font size under every picture (in the category page).

Are you able to explain to me how you did this, without being to technical ??
