• I’m currently using the Photo Lounge 1.0 theme on a wordpress site. The drop down menu is not dropping down the sub item lists when hovered over. I tried IE, Opera, Safari and Chrome on 3 different computers and none are working for me. (Opera comes closest as it looks like the drop down items appear, but it seems like the list drops behind the photos under the menu so they are out of sight)

I was having an issue with a “jquery not defined” error but was able to resolve that, however the menu still does not work properly.

Does anyone know off the top of their head things I could check for this? If any information is needed, let me know.

    The website is https://www.starvalleylandscape.com

  • Did you fix it? Works just fine for me. I’m on Firefox 3.6.9 with Mac OS 10.6.

Sorry…left that out…Firefox is the only browser it does work on

Does anyone else have experience with this theme and have any input about this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I tried it in Safari and didn’t see the drop-downs. Loaded it in Chrome and the drop-downs DO show up.

It may be a z-index issue…try temporarily hiding/disabling the Flash banner and see if your drop-downs show up.

If so, then you need to put z-index: 9999 or something on your menu (in the CSS) so that’s always on top.

Yeah I tried the z-index and that had no effect on it (neither did removing the banner)

Could you ask the creators of the theme? Do they have a support forum somewhere? Seems like this issue should’ve come up before and they might have some ideas on how to fix it.
