Photo not sending in post notification emails

Did you edit the default template given in the plugin ?
If yes please check if you have missed ###POSTIMAGE### keyword or not !
That can be the possible reason, image has not been visible in your mails.
Have a look at how to Configure and Send Post Notifications

Any update on the same?

On our site, photo are sent “sometimes”, and sometimes not. Correct keywords are used, we aren’t able to understand a rule to know when it is sent and when it isn’t.

It does have that keyword, but it didn’t work unfortunately.
