Photo of the day album can't be changed

  • The photo of the day album can’t be changed on one site of a multisite install. It works fine on other sites.

    The currently selected album no long exists. Someone must have deleted the album while it was set as the photo of the day album. Now whenever anyone tries to change the album in the photo of the day widget, it won’t change from the deleted album.

    The photo of the day admin page is clumsy, i agree. It will be re-designed and re-implemented in the near future.

    Try selecting – start over – in the Use Album(s) selection box, and then the album you want to be used. This should work.

    I know this topic is from last year… But, I’m running latest Version 6.6.09 and can not change the potd album selection. The selection field just shows the name of album it is stuck on. No option to “start over”.

    I had to resort to changing the potd album number by using phpadmin at the database. That worked. But, it’s a clunky work around.
