Photo volume increases a lot

Hi, You can resize (Custom Size, maybe 50px by 50px, something like this ) your watermark image instead of using the original image. And could you please let me know the original watermark image size ( in MB or KB ) ? That also might be causing the issue.

Hi,

The picture is used on the post, and the original picture size is small already. After using tinyPNG to compress, its size is 150kb.

The original watermark image size is 619b https://picshack.net/ib/wiJIT0ezh5.

All image volume will increase several times after applying watermark.

With watermarh and compressd with tinyPNG plugin (23kb): https://picshack.net/ib/FTNkDhdX1i

After applying watermark, even remove water mark the picture size is also 767kb。

We will check every possible case for this on our end again, and if possible we will push the updates on the next release.

Update: If use the TinyPNG plugin to compress the image first, then add watermark, the image size almost same, will not increase much.

We will investigate it in more details and let you know soon.
