Photocrati Gallery stopped working

I did not do any update till today, found out it stopped working.

Tried to fix the problem, I have updated the WP to 3.9.1. also downloaded NG to 2.0.66. Also deactivate all the other plugins.

How ever the problem still exists.

@ttao717 – What version of NextGEN Gallery did you update from? Although this may not lead to a direct solution (as I believe it has to do with your path containing “kanji” characters) it may help with where to look for one.

I’m having the same exact problem I did not realize today that the slideshow is not working.
I too upgraded WP to 3.9.1 and NG to Version 2.0.66.

Any word on a fix or at least can I go back to a version that does work?

I should mention I’m running my WP on a SuSE Linux server. I have a test bed that I run using WAMP and it appears to be working using the same WP and NG version, so I’m at a lost on why it does not work on the Linux side when it was working just fine before the NG upgrade.

@jlmiller – Since you server environment is most likely different it would probably be best for you to start your own topic. As it is, the placeholder <img> tag you are referencing looks fine; and, if the WAMP install was working correctly then I would suspect something may need to be addresses in the remote server.

There must be something wrong with the latest upgrade. Everything was working (galleries, slide shows) until I upgraded to NGG 2.0.66 this morning. I’m also using WP 3.9.1 & Theme 2011.

The upgrade seems to have delete the gallery settings tab (I get a blank page) and the other options tab.

. thumbnail display reverts to default single column
. clicking on thumbnail opens image but does not all slideshow
. captions are dropped on selected image
‘ and of course the Add Gallery/images error message (missing Flash, silverlight,HTML4/5) prevents uploading new images.

Can we get back to the previous/working version?

@pilotjrb – Please start your own topic as the last two updates had nothing at all to do with display and were strictly security updates to ensure only appropriate file types were able to be uploaded.

Hi,

I did not install any NextGEN explicitly. So that I am not sure.

The last photocrati I use Photocrati Theme 4.7.3.

Could you please advice how to fix?
