Photographer portfolio gallery plugin

Hello all I wonder if you can help?

I’m working with a friend to create a WordPress site for his photography portfolio, and would like some recommendations on a gallery plugin.

I’ve already spent a few hours on google trying to find something suitable, but have yet to find anything a)with the right look, b) desired functionality, c)free or very cheap, and without requiring ‘signing up’.

I know there are 100’s of great examples out there, so I’m hoping someone in the know can point me in the right direction for a portfolio gallery with the following features:

• Preferably tiles that open up a gallery of pictures
• NOT flash based (needs to work on iPhones etc)
• Free (or close to)
• Easy to us
• Works and installs /integrates with WordPress easily.
• Preferably works on pages (rather than posts)
