Photon breaks author Gravatar image

I recently changed my Gravatar and now the image won’t appear in my Author Box. When I deactivate Photon, the new Gravatar appears just fine. So methinks it’s a Photon issue. And the Gravatar appears fine elsewhere on the site. It’s just this one particular spot. I think Photon may still be trying to grab the cache of the old image?

Any ideas on how to fix? I really want to keep using Photon AND have my new author image appear. Many thanks!
