Hey there – we use Photon as a CDN for images and it’s not returning the same image in different locations. Original image link is here… if I view this from a Seattle VPN then I see one picture, but if I view it from an NYC VPN I see another one entirely (this issue has also been replicated by a customer in NYC who’s not using a VPN).

This isn’t the first time this has happened – could it be related to the fact that we have files called “image-scaled.jpg” in different paths?

Hey @pugwonk – I can see the image you shared above is currently working – could you please check and confirm if you are still facing the same issue with any other images?

Hi Animesh – thanks for looking into this! That URL shows the same picture if you retrieve it from both a Seattle-based VPN and a New York-based VPN? I just tried it again now and got two different pictures from the two different physical locations.

Hey @pugwonk – I’m not able to check from the Seattle-based VPN and a New York-based VPN, but I checked the image from US, UK, and Australia locations and I can see the same images for all those locations.

If you have VPN installed, could you please check the image from these locations to see if it shows the different images? If you want you can try some more different country locations to check it again and let us know.

    Hello @pugwonk

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
