• Hi, firstly this is one of the best WordPress gallery plugin I have come across.

When I use Photonic galleries with tab plugins or Gutenberg blocks – it displays only the gallery in the first tab correctly (mosaic gallery layout). Following tabs display images below each other in a single column.

I am a beginner so I am trying to figure out if this behaviour can be overcome somehow. I have trying to play with Photonic settings and tried different tab plugins but seems like it’s fundamental issue with how the galleries are loaded. But my knowledge is very thin.

Looking for some advice as would really like to use tabs with photonic galleries.

    Thanks for the attention.

If you are using the Mosaic layout, you will have to code your tabs plugin to explicitly call layout options on Photonic, which may or may not be possible. An alternative for you is to use the JavaScript layout engine for these galleries in Photonic, but I cannot guarantee a result, because the Mosaic layout is very heavily scripted.

Out of curiosity, why are you using tabs to load galleries? This has the overhead of loading all galleries even when you are not viewing them, and will make web-service calls.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Well I thought it to be a nice way to present different galleries but now I have learned that it is not a good idea anyways and there are better ways to do it.

I am having trouble using “multiple photos” option on Photonic with Flickr galleries though. When picked all the options come up and I can see Flickr images but nothing happens when I click on them, tags search field doesn’t work either. Am I missing something?

    Cheers
