    Hello,

I need help with a problem with the photos. I don’t know why, they have been appearing on a black background for a few days, whereas before they appeared on a white background. Do you know where the problem can come from? Could you help me ?

the image is on a transparent background (see screenshot). Besides, the problem was not present before and has just happened. We can also see on the product page that the thumbnail is converted into a JPG image on a black background while the preview of the highlighted image remains normal. Don’t know where it might come from?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @jcanefora,

Looking at your site, it currently shows images on a white background. I took a screenshot for reference: https://snipboard.io/6mrPQM.jpg

Nonetheless, the display aspect of the product page is mainly controlled by your theme and you’d be better placed contacting them if the issue recurs.
You seem to be using Woodmart and their support forum is https://themeforest.net/item/woodmart-woocommerce-wordpress-theme/20264492/support.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Thank you for your comeback. As you can see on your screenshot, the thumbnails of the gallery on the left are on a black background while the main image appears on a white background. I have already contacted WoodMart support who replied that it was not related to their theme.

How do I make the thumbnails appear as before on a white background? What is this due to?

    Hi @jcanefora,

What you’re experiencing does not seem related to the WooCommerce plugin. When testing for you using the free Storefront theme for WooCommerce on one of my installations no product gallery images are displaying with a black background added to them.

It seems like something on your particular site is adding a black background directly to the image for images that display within a script called thickbox to the left of the main product image. I also noticed that when opening the image directly from the left-hand side of the product that it has a custom name parameter of thickbox_default with the image path.

    https://www.fieldandfish.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/1160-thickbox_default-Gourde-filtrante-souple-KATADYN-1L-600×600.jpg

This custom name parameter of thickbox_default is not included in product gallery images uploaded with the Storefront theme activated.

    Hello @stuartduff,

    Thank you for your return.

How can I find what is causing the problem? How do I find out what is adding a black background and where the thickbox script is from?

    Hi @jcanefora,

You’ll want to do a conflict test to see if you can find out the cause. Be sure to keep an eye on what happens when you change your theme, it is the prime suspect here.

Hopefully, you will be able to find out the cause and reach out to the respective theme/plugin authors.

Keep us updated on how it goes.

    Thanks.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can reopen it again if you need be.
