Photos being taken out of order

    How can I keep the plugin from rearranging the order of the photographs I am posting?

    I photographed a wedding and I want the photographs to be uploaded in the order in which they were taken. They are numbered that way, but when I upload them the plugin rearranges the photos. For the most part they are kept in numerical order, but it divides them in half and flip-flops the halves so that the first photo is actually one that should be in the middle. From that point the photos continue to be in numerical order until it gets to the last photo. The last photo is followed by the one that actually is the first photo. That photo is then followed numerically by all the rest until all the photos are listed. What’s going on?

    Hello, dear @pasqualerose ,

    Thank you for your question, could you kindly check the sorting settings of your gallery?
    In order to change them:

    1. Click Photo Gallery from the menu on the left of your WordPress dashboard.
    2. From the list under Photo Gallery, click Options, then click the Gallery Defaults tab.
      Sort your images from the drop-down menu under Order By
    3. Click the Save button at the top right to save your settings. This will apply your selected option to every gallery that uses default options.
    4. In order to apply this setting to a single specific gallery click the shortcode of the published gallery in your editor, uncheck the box next to Use Default Options, then follow step 3 and click Update.

    Thank Nikita. Got it. The path to how to do it was a little different, but I was still able to find where to sort the images from the drop-down menu. It was under “global settings,” and then under “gallery views.”
