In normal view (not grid) pictures do not initially load on newest IOS in safari on iphones, you get a thin line that when tapped expands full image. I hate working with safari because it behaves different than Chrome but it has to work for all devices/browsers

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I don’t experience this problem. You can check my dev site: https://grey.new2new.com/shop/card/#reviews

    On Safari: https://nimb.ws/ywvuj3h

The Grid style is being used in the link above so I didn’t see any problem

    Best regards.

hi, please try my test site linked here on your end.

it looks like the difference between mine and yours is that the review tab is hidden by default on mine versus yours where it is open on page load. When the tab is hidden the photo element does not seem to render correctly. Closing and reopening the tab fixes this when I assume it recalculates the proper dimensions

sorry, my mistake, I enabled grid by accident. I just changed it back to normal view and problem now should be visible. Please check again on safari

Yes, I checked again on different devices, using Safari, there’s still no problem: https://nimb.ws/iYBcalt

Are these real devices or browserstack? Thank you very much for the help, I’m going to check on a few devices and see if I can narrow down some more information in case this only happens on certain IOS builds. Please keep this thread open for now

Yes, they’re real devices. You can see the full testing process in this video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c2Ab5ViXnUCjW_HS-iivQrRIGybzZioZ/view?usp=sharing

I only own one iphone, iphone XR running on 17.4.1 but had a few physical friends test on their phones and they experience the same issue. One person was running older IOS and one person was running newest iphone 15. all of them receive the same results. I also ran a test through a few iphones on browserstack and I get the same issue:

    Hi,

Can you please try this custom CSS:

    .comment-text .kt-reviews-image-container .kt-wc-reviews-images-wrap-wrap .reviews-images-item .review-images{width: 100px !important;}

    Thank you, let me try

This works as it specifies manual width for the image, so although I would prefer it somehow recalculate auto width this will work for my needs.

    Thank you very much

Thank you for your feedback and confirmation. I’m glad to hear that the solution meets your needs, even though it involves specifying the width manually.

If you ever wish to explore further customization options to adjust the auto width, you might find custom CSS helpful in achieving your desired outcome.
