photos from a deleted wordpress.com won't upload to my new site!

  • I switched to .org today and had trouble getting my images from wordpress.com to display properly so as I have only 9 posts I deleted the lot, and went to start again….except now they refuse to display – they have that stupid blue question mark icon which when clicked directs you to the defunct blog i deleted! I’ve tried renaming the files on my computer and it still makes no difference ! Please help this is an assignment!!
    * I’m using elemin theme.

  • No need to follow such time wasting procedure. In your old blog (.com) in admin panel Tools > Export, export all your contents (everything) to a file.
    Then in your new blog (.org) Tools > Import. Import the file and assign it to your user account. (If it promt installing an Import plugin, proceed freely)

    It’s the best way transferring WP to WP sites. ??
