Photos in Coaches Table

    Hopefully this is a quick and easy one and a complete miss on my part.

    For whatever reason I have been unable to get any photo other than a default club logo to display for any of the coaches I have created across two staffs.

    I did replace the default-photo.jpg plugins > coaching-staffs > images directory. That image shows for all the coaches I have setup for both staffs; bu-rugby-coaches and bu-rugby-e-board.

    What am I supposed to name the picture file for a staff member and does it need to be a specific type to work (jpg or png)?

    I have tried the following for one of the bu-rugby-e-board staff members; Nick Coppola.

    Put both nick-coppola.jpg and nick-coppola.png in the plugins > coaching-staffs > images directory.

    Any guidance and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi mjfromm,
    Thanks for posting. Did you set the photos as the FEATURED IMAGEs for the coaches? I prefer png but either format will work.

    Ok…figured it out and should have known to try this.

    I have used your game schedule/locations/team roster plugins for a few years. If the Team Rosters is activated the Featured Image function disappears with the theme I use (Adapt). So I usually just disable Team Rosters, do what I need to do, then re-enable. Appears same problem with Coaching Staffs. So I worked around it by temporarily changing theme so I could set the featured images in the Coaching Staff plug-in.

    Having said this, I had previously seen the features image issue with Team Rosters and some themes raised by others in forums for your post before so should have thought that the same conflict was possible with the Coaching Staffs plug-in.

    Thanks for all that you do for the plug-ins that are part of the MSTW framework.

    Thanks. Yes, something is going on with the Featured Image in some themes. I like to fix it but I can’t figure out what that is. Since it works with all the standard WordPress themes from Twenty Eleven forward, I doubt that I’m doing something janky, but I’m still looking (on the back burner). If you have any hints from what you are seeing, please send them along.
