    Hello.
I am building my first website and encountered a problem.
when I try to upload a photo to the media library, some photos (most actually) don’t show in the library, I just see a white background and when I try to add them to a page they don’t show (all photos were downloaded and all are jpg).
Is there a criteria to photos that can be used? A setting that I need to change?
Btw, when I go the edit photo I can see the photo.
I am using localhost, if that’s relevant.

    thank you.

  • Hi

There can be one of the following issues.

    1. You must be trying to upload all the images in one go. The system is designed to do so, but at times I have seen it acting finicky with too many images at a time. I upload in blocks of 10 images at a time.
    2. The images would be anything but JPG, PNG or GIFs. It is advisable to use only these 3 formats to use for full color images on web.
    3. The image sizes are above the upload limit. Though there is a very slim chance that this is an issue

Do write back on this thread if this is not solving the issue.
