Photos revert to originally saved order

    I’m having a weird issue where I create a new post, upload my Featured Gallery images. and publish.

    When I come back and want to rearrange the photos. I click Edit Selection, rearrange, and reinsert the gallery via the button in the bottom right. When I do so, the new order looks good in the Featured Galleries area. But when I Update the post, go back to all posts, and then back into my post, the Featured Galleries image order is back to the original order it was when I created the post.

    Any idea what’s going on?

    I cannot reproduce. I’ve tried 3.9.1 and 4.0 Beta. EDIT: Also tested in 3.9.2. I’ve tried with Pages, Posts, and several custom post types. Also tried across several installations. This means that the culprit is probably something specific to your installation. If you can provide some details, I can investigate further:
