Photoset with lightbox enabled does not work in Safari

As the title describes, when I have “Enable Lightbox” selected for a gallery (photoset) the images appear as flat lines in Safari (on mac and iOS). They work fine in other browsers. The same photoset looks ok when “Enable Lightbox” is not selected.
