• 1) I have been working on an image(with link buttons in it) to put in my sidebar for two days, and after going through several books I managed to use Photoshop to make the image contain rollover links. I transferred the image over to Imageready and previewed it in firefox. The photo came out just as I wanted it to, but now my problem is getting it onto my site. When I previewed the photo, it had a HTML code written below it, and I managed to get the images(after slice) to save as GIF. I uploaded the images onto dreamhost, and tried to then enter the html code that I was given in the preview under sidebar.php, but the picture did not show up.(All that happened is if you go to my site Indiemuse.com, you will see a border pop up for a split second, and then disappear)Many trial and errors later, I am very stuck.

    2) I would like to see the search bar that is in my sidebar, inside the same image I am referring to above. To be clearer, I am going to just explain what I am trying to do. My site, Indiemuse.com, is a music site and in attempts to make my site a little different, I thought that it would be kind of neat to make an ipod that had “about me, contact me, etc,” written inside the ipod instead of “playlist, artists, etc.” I was able to do this and make them into rollover links so when the mouse goes over the “about me” it highlights similar to how it does on the older ipods. The thing is, I would like to make the search bar the first link on the ipod image.(see below) I ideally would like to set it up saying search in it and then when a user clicks on it, it clears and they can type…then make (>) the enter button. I would also like the search to stay true to what I was doing with the other image links, so it starts out light, the user runs mouse over it at which time it turns black, and then they can type which will be grayish font. So the image would look like this:

    _____ipod______
    Search >

    About Me >

    Etc. >
    _______________

Am I in over my head, or is this possible to do?

Thank you for your help in advance. I really appreciate it!
